"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

go to google or iconator ang look for icons or avatars that are 50x50. when you find one you like, right click it and go to save as. then go to settings&rofile. when you get there you will want to go to identidy. there you should see a thing with your current avatar. there will be a button that says change avatar. click it. at the bottom of the pop ur, there is another button, you'll want to click it to. then all you have to do is open the file of your avatar. when the pic loads, it ok. when you get out of the pop up, go to the bottom of the screen and hit ok. then youre done.
